KOICA Bangladesh Office invites qualified constructors for Construction for Remodeling Work for the following grant-aid project respectively.

1. About KOICA

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), established in 1991, is the Republic of Korea’s government agency for grant aid and technical cooperation. KOICA supports sustainable development in partner countries through seven priority sectors: Education, Health, Public Administration, Agriculture and Fisheries, Technology, Environment and Energy, and Cross-cutting Issues, including Gender, ICT, Human Rights and Climate Change. KOICA began its operations in Bangladesh in 1993 and established its country office in 1995 to implement full-fledged cooperation programs.

2. Title of the work:

Construction Work for the Remodeling Work of the Education and Research Capacity Building of the National Institute of Advanced Nursing Education and Research (NIANER) in Bangladesh

3. Summary of Services

  • Scope of work: Partial remodeling work for existing educational and dormitory facilities
  • Total Gross Floor Area (for Remodeling): Approx. 2,206.00 m²
    Educational facilities: 1,865.00 m² + Dormitory facilities: 341.00 m²
  • Scope of Remodeling:

    - Educational facilities: Remodeling of the main lobby (GF), two floors (1F/2F), and selected rooms (3F/6F), etc.
    -Dormitory facilities: Remodeling of guest rooms and common areas (6F only)

4. Estimated Price: USD 375,000 (VAT included)

5. Location: Hazi Kadam Ali Rd, Mugda, Dhaka 1214, Bangladesh

  • Joint venture is not allowed.
  • A bidder must fulfil the bidders’ eligibility and qualifications which also includes using KOICA prescribed formats for applications and proposals

6. Submission of Bid Participation Application and Pre-qualification (PQ) Documents

Interested bidders must apply to participate, accompanied by the following documents, by email November 10, 2026, 16:00

  • Eligibility Examination: Applicants will be assessed on a pass/fail basis against the required PQ documents to determine eligibility before Bid submission. Only qualified applicants who pass the PQ assessment will be invited to the pre-bid meeting by email November 17, 2026.

7. Bid Submission:

Must be submitted in sealed bid price, bid security, original bid document (one hard copy) along with soft copy in two USB flash drives (pen drives) by December 13, 2026,16:00.
