Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a skilled quality controller (QC) to work in the Liaison Office for garments factory. The role involves ensuring product quality at every stage—from production to shipment—while meeting buyer standards and supporting both factory and office QC operations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout.
- Inspect in-line and end-line production to detect any defects or non-conformities.
- Ensure the knitting, linking, trimming, dying, washing, and finishing processes are aligned with buyer standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to solve quality issues proactively.
- Prepare daily quality inspection reports and escalate serious issues to management.
- Maintain quality audit reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Follow up on rework and repairs to ensure defects are rectified properly.
- Support factory internal audits and external buyer inspections.
- Conducted pre-final and final (Inline/midline/shipment) inspections of factory production.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, AQL standards, and technical specifications.
- Prepare inspection reports and communicate with buying/merchandising teams regarding product quality.
- Approve samples for bulk production and monitor consistency throughout production.
- Liaise with factory QC teams and provide training or guidance as needed.
- Report any quality risks and recommend preventive measures to buyers/management.
- Support product development and ensure quality feasibility in the sampling stage.
