Introduction
Swisscontact Bangladesh invites Expressions of Interest (EoI) from experienced and qualified training institution/service provider/agency to conduct teacher’s capacity building training.
Objective
A project of Swisscontact intends to launch a structured and replicable capacity-building program focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) pedagogy for secondary school teachers.
Swisscontact is now inviting proposals from prospective training institution/service provider/agency to organize training sessions for approximately 120 teachers from 30 schools in Nabiganj, Sylhet Sadar and Sreemangal Upazilas.
Scope Overview
The project plans to design and deliver a comprehensive, practical, and replicable teacher’ capacity building program that enhances pedagogical skills, promotes student-centered learning, and strengthens classroom delivery among secondary-level teachers. In addition, the program will equip teachers with practical tools to effectively integrate cross‑cutting issues into their instruction, promote critical thinking, and foster respectful, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.
The selected firm shall be responsible for all logistical and administrative arrangements required for the successful delivery of the training program, including venue selection and management, participant coordination, meals and refreshments, training materials, equipment, and any other operational support necessary for the effective implementation of the training sessions.
A detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) outlining the scope of work, requirements, and expectations will be shared exclusively with shortlisted training institution/service provider/agency after the evaluation of the submitted EoI.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested training institution/service provider/agency should meet the following criteria:
- Ability to organize training sessions in similar settings.
- Proven experience in arranging training sessions across the country. Experience working in Sylhet region will be considered an asset.
- Experience working with schools/madrasahs or similar contexts is desired but not mandatory
- Valid trade license and TIN certificate, BIN certificate along with proof of the latest Income Tax Return submission (PSR).

Submission Guidelines
- Company Profile: Highlight relevant experiences, expertise, and examples of completed tasks.
- Understanding of the assignment: A brief outline of the organization’s understanding of the intervention, details on experiences organizing training across the country and available resources within the organization.
- Contact Information: Details of authorized representatives for communication.
- Legal Documentation: Trade license, TIN certificate, BIN certificate, and proof of the latest Income Tax Return submission (PSR).
Submission Deadline
All EoIs must be submitted via email to bd.procurement@swisscontact.org no later than 30 June 2026. The subject line should read: “EoI for Teacher’s Capacity Building Training In Sylhet Division”
Evaluation Process
Swisscontact will evaluate the EoIs based on the applicant’s expertise, experience, and compliance with the eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted training institution/service provider/agency will be contacted and invited to submit detailed proposals, work plan, and cost estimates, based on the shared ToR.
