Job Description/Responsibility:

  • Preparation of financial Statements
  • Submission of Annual Tax return, Documentation, and Tax hearing- Arranging Company Tax & VAT Return Submit & Documentation, Assessment, hearing, appeal submission appeal Tribunal
  • Preparation of annual Tax return and Tax audit for all business units.
  • Facing Tax Appellate Tribunal, Appealing
  • Attend hearing before the DCT, Appellate Commissioner & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment
  • Tax Planning- Minimize the burden efficiently, and ensure that company maintains compliance with all rules, laws and regulations
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of income Tax Act 2023 with a view to reduce the disallowances.
  • Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities
  • Develop and Maintain Liaison with Government Regulatory bodies (NBR, BB, RJSC, SEC, BIDA)
  • Coordinate with head office supply chain manufacturers, for proper Tax, VAT and commercial documentation, and review the calculation on payroll and with supplier
  • Prepare the cheque/payment instructions along with vouchers after necessary deduction (Tax, VAT, advances)
  • Calculate Staff Tax (Yearly/as and when required) and prepare tax certificate
  • Complete Tax, VAT, Insurance with Customs All Work Procedure

Educational Requirements (including Licenses & Certification)

  • Masters of Accounting/MBA in Accounting.
  • ICAB (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh) Qualification
  • CA (Chartered Accountancy Course Completed)
  • Enlisted Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) from National Board of Revenue (NBR)
  • Member (Dhaka Tax Bar Association),

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate
