Job Context:

We are hiring experienced Jr. Officer (EHS) for a large-scale Solar Project in Chittagong. The ideal candidate will oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise rooftop/ground-mounted solar PV installation for safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
• Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site teams to enforce HSE policies and local regulations.
• Keep records of inspections, permits, toolbox talks, incidents.
• Identify hazards, inspect sites, ensure PPE and fall protection systems.
• Stop unsafe acts; review JHAs, risk assessments, permits, LOTO, hot work, working at height etc.
• Maintain emergency routes, firefighting gear, rescue systems, first aid.
• Report/ investigate incidents, near misses; ensure corrective actions accordingly.
• Oversee safe use of tools, machinery, lifting gear, electrical devices.

Job Location & Workplace: Anywhere in Bangladesh.

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor degree/ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science/Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Civil, Electrical or related discipline.
• Professional HSE certification/training will get preference.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 2+ years of experience in EHS roles (preferably in solar/ power/ infrastructure/ construction projects)
