Assistant Engineer (Python Developer)

Job Context

We are looking for a motivated Python Developer to build and maintain our SaaS products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver robust, scalable systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and best practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs (Django)
  • Architect and optimize databases and caching systems (e.g., Postgresql, Mssql, Redis)
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to ensure a smooth user experience
  • Integrate with and process data from IoT devices and external data sources
  • Develop internal tools and automation scripts using core Python
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for APIs and system components

Employment Status

  • Full-time (Dhaka - On Site)

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in software development (fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply)
  • Strong understanding of core programming concepts, including OOP and basic  
  • Good knowledge of databases and caching mechanisms
  • Solid understanding of backend development principles (experience with Django is preferred)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Optional

  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
  • Exposure to task queues or asynchronous processing
  • Interest or experience in working with IoT data or real-time systems
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization

Salary

  • 30,000 - 40,000 Taka
