The Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Technical Specialist – Warehouse, the role will provide timely, effective, and accountable logistics support to Save the Children field teams across key functions, including procurement and supply management, supplier coordination and communication, dispatch of goods to field locations, and warehouse tracking.

The role will contribute to the effective expansion and delivery of Save the Children programmes in Cox’s Bazar, supporting operational efficiency and increasing the organisation’s impact and positive outcomes for children.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work flexibly beyond the normal scope of responsibilities, including adapting working hours, priorities, and duties as required to support an effective emergency response and operate in challenging or disaster-affected environments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in similar responsibilites, preferably with NGO and/or UN agencies.
• Experience in working together and supervising the work of casual workers in the warehouse.
• Knowledge in local markets and negotiation with suppliers
• Knowledge of storage and physical arrangement of various shape and type of warehouse items.
• Highly flexible and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent verbal communication in Bangla, and workable or passive verbal communication in English
• Bachelors in relevant Subject
