1. INTRODUCTION
Save the Children has been working in Bangladesh since 1970, partnering with the Government of Bangladesh, local NGOs, and communities to ensure every child survives, learns, and is protected. Our programs address a wide range of issues, including child protection, education, health and nutrition, humanitarian response, and climate change adaptation.

2. BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT
Save the Children International's (SCI) Global Brand and Creative Content team (GCCU) gathers and shares content for the global Save the Children movement (SCI, members, Country Offices) around the world to use in their fundraising and engagement, advocacy, campaigning and media work.

Our stories are always child-led and, where possible, told in their own words. We produce integrated stories, which include detailed written stories (case studies), photo collections, video packages (interviews and B rolls). Save the Children must be supporting the child or their family.

In July and August 2026, the GCCU will be visiting Bangladesh to gather multimedia content (photos, video, written stories) in communities / with families where Save the Children operates. The focus of the content gathering will be on newborns and maternal health (Rangpur and Cox's Bazar).
