Senior Project Officer – Child Protection and Child Labor

The Opportunity
The Senior Project Officer is responsible to maintain close communication with partner organizations, monitor and supervise work plan and activities implemented by partners. This position will provide technical support, capacity building to ensure program quality, and maintain smooth coordination with stakeholders, including parents, caregivers, community, government and others and will also play an active role in advocacy initiatives. Provide monitoring support to all project activities and generate report on progress to the Project Manager on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible professional work experience within a development NGO or an INGO
  • Experience in working with child labour interventions.
  • Experience in providing training.
  • Experience in managing and working with government, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
  • Good knowledge of child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh.
  • Familiarity with national policies, community structures, and relevant government mechanisms is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with children respectfully and with dignity, demonstrating a flexible, inclusive, and non‑judgmental attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in English, including communication, documentation, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Law, Public Administration, Development Studies, or other relevant social science disciplines
