Position Overview:
Pure Earth Bangladesh is seeking a strategic, results-driven, and relationship-oriented Partnerships and Growth Manager to support partnership building and management, donor engagement initiatives, and program documentation. This role is crucial for identifying funding opportunities, strengthening stakeholder and donor relationships, and expanding Pure Earth’s partnerships in Bangladesh.

The Partnerships and Growth Manager will work closely with the Country Director, program and communications teams, and external stakeholders to develop and manage partnerships aligned with Pure Earth’s mission to reduce exposure to lead and other toxic pollutants. The position will lead and support, documentation of lessons learned and program impact, supporting data-driven decision-making, and ensuring timely donor and internal reporting.
The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills, and experience working with government agencies, donors, and development partners.

Work Location: Office located in House: 3/3, Block E, Lalmatia, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Scope of Work:
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify, map, and maintain a database of key stakeholders, including government agencies, development partners, civil society organizations, youth organizations, academia, and private sector actors.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with relevant ministries, departments, and national and international organizations.
  • Facilitate engagement, coordination, and collaboration between Pure Earth and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Pure Earth in meetings, technical working groups, workshops, and coordination platforms.
  • Support the development of strategic alliances, consortiums, and partnership networks to advance organizational goals.

2. Communicating Impact

  • Support preparation of high-quality donor reports, internal progress reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and case studies to support organizational learning and adaptive programming.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across programs and projects.

3. Resource Mobilization and Donor Engagement

  • Identify funding opportunities from bilateral, multilateral, philanthropic, and private sector donors.
  • Lead or support the development of concept notes, proposals, and funding applications.
  • Support negotiation and development of MoUs, agreements, and partnership contracts.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of donor engagements and funding opportunities.
  • Support donor relations, communications, and reporting requirements.

4. Strategic Analysis and Program Development

  • Conduct research and analysis on environmental health, pollution, and toxic exposure trends.
  • Analyze policy, regulatory frameworks, and institutional landscapes relevant to program implementation.
  • Provide strategic inputs to support program design, expansion, and partnership strategy.
  • Contribute to evidence-based planning and scaling of interventions in alignment with organizational priorities.

5. Coordination and Operational Support

  • Work closely with the Country Director, program and communications teams, and technical experts to align partnership strategies with program objectives.
  • Support coordination of cross-functional activities related to project implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements in all partnership activities.

Required Qualifications and Experiences:

Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies, Environmental Policy, Public Health, International Relations, Environmental Science, Economics, MBA or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with significant relevant professional experience may also be considered.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive professional experience in partnerships, or resource mobilization.
  • Experience working in managerial or senior-level positions with international NGOs, development agencies, or environmental health programs is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in donor engagement, business development, proposal writing, and funding acquisition.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder development initiatives involving government agencies, development partners, and civil society organizations.
  • Experience working with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and research institutions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in environmental health, lead poisoning prevention, or toxic pollution programs is highly desirable.

Partnership and Stakeholder Management

  • Strong experience in partnership development, stakeholder mapping, and relationship management across government, donor, and non-government sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-sector partnerships and strategic alliances.

  Communicating Impact

  • Experience in developing logical frameworks, indicators, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience in preparing high-quality donor reports, progress reports, and learning documentation.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Bangla.
  • Strong team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of environmental policies and development frameworks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Bangladesh as required.

Work Supervision:
The Partnerships and Growth Manager will work under the supervision of Country Director.

Salary: Monthly 200,000 BDT

Contract Duration:
12-months (One year) full-time consultant position, with the high possibility of annual renewal.
