Media Fellowship on Energy Mega Projects in Bangladesh

Primary Guidelines
- Participatory Research & Action Network- PRAAN and Oxfam request proposals from qualified individuals/teams/firms to participate in a Media Fellowship on Energy Mega Projects in Bangladesh. The fellowship is open to professional journalists (both TV and Newspaper) or reporting teams with:
- Demonstrated experience in investigative journalism, particularly in the energy, environment, or financial sectors.
- Proven capacity to produce high-quality audio-visual content (TV reports).
- Strong understanding of ethical journalism and sensitivity when working with affected communities.
- Ability to conduct analysis on complex topics such as energy dependency and fair finance.
- Interested candidatess are requested to submit their detailed proposal following the below requirements:
- Applicants must submit their brief resume/CV with recent photographs.
- A detailed concept/proposal in a maximum of 1000 words should be submitted with the application form. This proposal would be approved by the newsroom editor of the respective media house. The nomination letter signed by the Editor/Chief Reporter/Head of News also must be included with the proposal as a single file.
- Applicants will submit at least 02-05 previous investigative reports related to Energy/Infrastructure Projects, Financial Accountability, or Environmental Justice with links in the proposal part.
- Invoicing will occur upon completion and approval of the deliverables. PRAAN is not liable for any expenditure incurred by responding individual/team/firm prior to issuance of an executed contract with PRAAN.
- Submissions must be typed and submitted by email here contact@praan.org.bd and must include all the requirement mentioned in the Primary Guidelines B. Unless agreed upon with PRAAN no changes or corrections to a response will be allowed after the deadline
