Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, a 5-Star Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh; is being operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Singapore and a member of the Global Hotel Alliance encompassing over 450 upscale and luxury hotels & resorts globally.

We are inviting applications from Bangladeshi Nationals for the following position of the Food & Beverage- Service Department. The candidates must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for the position:

Responsibility:

Assistant Restaurant Manager shall be the representative of Food & Beverage Restaurant Services with operational excellence and focusing on great service experience to every guest and maximizing department profitability and handle every issue efficiently, courteously and professionally. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:

• Ensure consistent delivery of five-star service standards and exceptional guest experiences.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate restaurant associates to achieve operational and service objectives.
• Ensure proper mise-en-place, table setup, cleanliness, grooming, and service standards.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor restaurant sales, revenue, food & beverage costs, and operational expenses.
• Assist with staff scheduling, duty allocation, attendance, and manpower planning.
• Conduct daily briefings and support effective communication within the team.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Graduate from a recognized University. Hospitality degree will get preference.
• Relevant professional training or certifications in Food & Beverage - Service will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5(five) years of experience in the Food & Beverage- Service Department where 2-3 years as Supervisor/ Asst. Manager of F&B outlet/services in a leading 4 or 5 Star Hotel. Overseas experience holder will get preference.
• Maximum 35 (thirty-five) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
• Age and Experience limit may be relaxed for deserving candidates as per the discretion of the Management.

Other Requirements:

• Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required to execute the JD of this job role.
• Presentable personality, well-groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills & confident to run a big team (multicultural) independently.
• Commendable communications proficiency both in spoken & written English & Bangla.
• Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
• Multi-tasking skill and can handle the work pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Should have a “Can Do Attitude”.
• Ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on emergency situations.
