Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, a 5-Star Hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh; is being operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Singapore and a member of the Global Hotel Alliance encompassing over 450 upscale and luxury hotels & resorts globally.

We are inviting applications from Bangladeshi Nationals for the following position of the Food & Beverage- Service Department. The candidates must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for the position:

Responsibility:

Manager, Restaurant Services shall be the key representative of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka to ensure 5 Star Standard Food & Beverage Services with operational excellence and focusing on exceptional food and beverage experience to every guest and maximizing department profitability and handle every issue efficiently, courteously and professionally. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:

• Oversee the daily operations of restaurant outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction, service quality, hygiene, and food safety in accordance with hotel policies and international hospitality standards.
• Lead, supervise, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure consistent implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service standards of guest service, food & beverage presentation and operational efficiency.
• Monitor restaurant performance, revenue, operating costs, and departmental budgets to achieve financial targets.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with the Kitchen, Stewarding, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare duty rosters, manage manpower allocation, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct regular briefings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor inventory, equipment, and restaurant supplies to minimize wastage and control costs.
• Support promotional activities, menu launches, special events, upselling and initiatives to increase restaurant revenue.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, occupational health and safety requirements, and applicable food safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Graduate from a recognized University. Hospitality degree will get preference.
• Relevant professional training or certifications in Food & Beverage - Service will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5(five) years of experience in the Food & Beverage- Service Department where 2-3 years as Manager of F&B outlet/services in a leading 4 or 5 Star Hotel. Overseas experience holder will get preference.
• Maximum 40 (forty) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
• Age and Experience limit may be relaxed for deserving candidates as per the discretion of the Management.

Other Requirements:

• Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required to execute the JD of this job role.
• Presentable personality, well-groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills & confident to run a big team (multicultural) independently.
• Commendable communications proficiency both in spoken & written English & Bangla.
• Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
• Multi-tasking skill and can handle the work pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Should have a “Can Do Attitude”.
• Ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on emergency situations.
