Omera Fuels Limited (OFL), a sister concern of MJL Bangladesh PLC. is the first and only state-of-the-art, internationally certified tank terminal in Bangladesh, containing a bulk storage capacity of 70,000 MT with all modern facilities.

Job Context: We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Terminal Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Fuel storage terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant terminal operations, including vessel operations, product receiving and delivery, maintenance coordination, HSE compliance, manpower management, and liaison with relevant government and external organizations

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering from a reputed university.
  • Relevant professional certifications/training in Fuel Terminal Operations, HSE, Fire Safety, ISO Management Systems, or Process Safety will be an advantage.

Working Experience:

  • At Least 12 years of work experience in the relevant area, with a minimum of 05 years of experience in a managerial position in a fuel terminal, petroleum storage facility, fuel depot, refinery, chemical terminal, or related industry.
  • Proven experience in managing terminal operations, maintenance coordination, manpower, and contractors. Experience in dealing with government/regulatory authorities and port/jetty organizations will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all product receiving, transfer, and delivery operations and provide technical and operational guidance during normal and critical situations.
  • Supervise and scrutinize operational records and data related to all Fuel handling activities at the terminal.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and job procedures for receiving Fuel from mother vessels and delivering products to coastal tankers through different jetties.
  • Ensure continuous and consistent compliance with the Company’s & ISO Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
  • Manage sub-contractor selection, jetty booking and vessel safe-berthing operations.
  • Plan, schedule and monitor preventive, periodic and breakdown maintenance of major equipment, including pumps, automatic tank gauging systems, fire hydrant and foam systems, substations, generators and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain effective liaison with government authorities, port/jetty authorities, regulatory bodies and other relevant organizations to facilitate smooth terminal operations.
  • Provide strategic input and support to senior management regarding terminal expansion, operational improvement and future business development.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team-management capability.
  • Sound knowledge of petroleum/Fuel terminal operations and safety practices.
  • Good understanding of pumps, pipelines, tank gauging, fire protection systems, and terminal equipment.
  • Strong commitment to Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and regulatory compliance.
