Job Summary
KOTRA Dhaka is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Development Executive to support Korea-Bangladesh ODA/G2G project development, trade and investment promotion activities. The selected candidate will engage in coordinating Government-to-Government (G2G) cooperation projects, including the ongoing Economic Innovation Partnership Program (EIPP), requiring effective communication and coordination between Bangladeshi government authorities and Korean organizations. The candidate will also conduct and support bilateral trade and investment initiatives alone with some market research, prepare research reports, coordinate with government and private sector stakeholders, and support bilateral trade and investment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of Korea-Bangladesh Official Development Assistance (ODA), Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) and Government-to-Government (G2G) projects.
- Coordinate G2G cooperation projects, including the Economic Innovation Partnership Program (EIPP), between Bangladeshi government authorities and Korean organizations.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, study visits, consultations, and other project-related activities.
- Support bilateral trade and investment promotion activities and business development initiatives.
- Coordinate with government agencies, private-sector companies, Korean organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on action items, and support timely execution of project activities.
- Prepare project documents, presentations, reports, and other relevant materials.
- Assist in organizing business meetings, seminars, networking events, and delegation programs.
- Conduct market and industry research to support project and trade-related activities.
Educational Requirements
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 05 years of relevant professional experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder, Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) or Government-to-Government (G2G) projects.
- Professional experience in project planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement will be considered an advantage
- Professional experience working with government agencies, international organizations, development partners, research institutions, or consulting firms.
- Experience in trade and investment promotion, business development, or international cooperation activities will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in research, market research, report writing, publications, policy analysis, consulting, trade promotion, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
- Ability to communicate professionally with government authorities, public institutions, international organizations, and private-sector stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder, Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) projects and Government-to-Government (G2G) projects.
- Strong project planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collect, interpret, and present information effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
