Job Context:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Clinical Speech & Language Therapist to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for individuals with speech, language,
communication, hearing, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
The selected candidate will work with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary
professionals to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, cognitive communication, and swallowing functions.
- Diagnose communication, speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
- Provide therapy services for pediatric and/or adult clients.
- Conduct dysphagia/swallowing assessment and recommend management plans where required.
- Guide patients/caregivers on AAC, assistive technology, home programs, and communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Coordinate with physicians, educators, therapists, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality, professional ethics, and compliance with relevant guidelines.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc in Speech & Language Therapy / B.Sc. in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology from a government-recognized institute;
- Completion of a one-year clinical internship is required.
Experience Requirements
- 1–2 years of clinical experience will be preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong clinical internship exposure may also apply.
Additional Requirements
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, therapy planning, and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of pediatric and/or adult communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
