Leadership Opportunity | Engineering Lead (EPC & Infrastructure)

A leading multi-diversified engineering company with a strong presence in power generation, distribution, and large-scale infrastructure development is seeking an exceptional leader to join its executive team as:

Job Title: Engineering Lead

This is a high-impact leadership role offering full ownership of complex EPC and infrastructure projects, including Underground Metro Rail, Seaports, Airports, and Solar Power Plants.

The Role

As Engineering Lead, you will operate at the core of the organization’s strategic execution— partnering directly with the Board and Managing Director to drive:

  • Business growth and expansion
  • Project excellence and delivery
  • Profitability and long-term value creation &
  • You will lead from the front, ensuring world-class execution across multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects
  • Ensure delivery excellence across timeline, cost, and quality parameters
  • Direct and integrate multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
  • Manage high-level stakeholder relationships, including government bodies, consultants, and consortium partners
  • Drive compliance with international engineering, HSE, and regulatory standards
  • Implement risk management, value engineering, and optimization strategies &
  • Present strategic insights, reports, and decisions to executive leadership and clients.

What We're Looking For

A dynamic, results-driven professional with:

  • Proven leadership in complex infrastructure project environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contracts, budgeting, and stakeholder management
  • Deep knowledge of global engineering standards and execution methodologies &
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Added Advantages

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience in iconic or mega infrastructure projects (local or international)
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions
  • Expertise in MEP disciplines &
  • Advanced proficiency in PIVOT analysis.

Education

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering
    (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Naval/Marine, or related disciplines from a recognized institution)

Experience

  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in EPC and infrastructure projects
  • Strong track record in Metro Rail, Underground/Tunnel Works, Airports, Seaports, and Power Plants

Financial & Analytical Capability

You bring the ability to:

  • Drive data-backed decisions
  • Apply capital budgeting techniques (NPV, IRR)
  • Distinguish CapEx vs OpEx &
  • Interpret financial statements and build robust Excel-based models.
