TENDER NOTICE

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Bangladesh Delegation invites sealed proposals from reputable, licensed, and experienced insurance companies for the provision of insurance services covering IFRC office assets in Bangladesh.

Assets to be Covered
Risk Coverage Requirements
  • Office equipment (computers, laptops, printers, servers)
  • Furniture and fixtures
  • Electronic equipment/ appliances
  • Generators/electrical systems
  • Communication equipment
  • Any other IFRC-declared assets
  • Fire and allied perils
  • Theft and burglary
  • Natural disasters (flood, cyclone, earthquake)
  • Accidental damage
  • Electrical/mechanical breakdown (if applicable)
  • Riot, strike, and civil commotion (RSCC)

Bidders must be a licensed insurance company authorized by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), Bangladesh with having recent 10 years’ experience in similar field.

The Request for Proposal (RFP), bidding instructions, IFRC general terms and conditions, and other associated annexures will be available from 02 April 2026 until 08 April 2026 from 0900hrs-1700hrs Bangladesh time (except weekend and holidays).

The tender documents (RFQ) shall be requested by email, enclosing the Trade Licence as Fuel seller, to tahsin.maisha@ifrc.org with a copy to arifur.rahman@ifrc.org. The email subject should have RFP reference numbers as mentioned in above.

The bids containing the complete proposal in sealed envelope (Technical and Financial offer in separate envelop), should be received at the IFRC office at 684-686, Red Crescent Sarak, Bara Maghbazar, Dhaka on 09 April 2026, within 0900 hrs. to 1530 hrs.

The IFRC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers without assigning any reason whatsoever and is not bound to accept the lowest bid.
