Good Neighbors Central Women's Cooperative Ltd. (Reg. No.: Sha/Ah-01), operating under the patronage of Good Neighbors Bangladesh, manages 26 women's cooperatives across 13 districts, uniting 42,750 grassroots female members. Dedicated to women's empowerment, family income generation, and enhancing societal acceptance, the organization continually expands its community-driven cooperatives into new areas. Through active involvement in income-generating activities and impactful contributions to women's development, these cooperatives are annually recognized as the best cooperatives at the Upazila, District, and Divisional levels. 2. Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
- Graduation or Postgraduate degree in Finance / Accounting / Management / Marketing/ Business Administration from any recognized university
Age: Minimum 25 years and maximum 35 years as of 31 July 2026.
Experience:
- At least 1 years of experience in relevant field in the NGO/INGO sector.
3. Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary and Benefits: Consolidated remuneration of Tk. 26,626 per month, plus a 100% annual bonus after successful completion of the probationary period, 15 days of paid leave excluding public holidays, and training opportunities for career development.
- Probation Period: 6 months (Confirmation of employment, extension of the probation period, or discontinuation of employment will be based on the performance evaluation during the probation period)
4. Key Responsibilities:
Cooperative & IGA Development
- Support formation, registration, and strengthening of community cooperatives and producer groups.
- Facilitate planning and implementation of income-generating activities (IGA) aligned with local market demand.
- Provide technical support to cooperative members on business planning, costing, pricing, and profit analysis.
- Promote inclusive participation, with special focus on women’s economic empowerment and vulnerable households.
Social Enterprise Support
- Assist in developing and managing community-based social enterprises under cooperative structures.
- Support feasibility studies, business models, and sustainability plans for social enterprises.
- Monitor production, sales, cash flow, and reinvestment strategies to ensure long-term viability.
- Strengthen value chain linkages with buyers, suppliers, and local markets.
Financial Management & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate financial records of cooperatives, IGAs, and social enterprises, including: Cash books, Ledgers, Savings and loan registers & Profit & loss statements.
- Ensure proper documentation of transactions, vouchers, and receipts.
- Support cooperative treasurers in applying basic accounting principles and internal controls.
- Monitor fund utilization, revolving funds, and cooperative capital growth.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance
- Conduct regular field monitoring to assess financial performance and business progress.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and narrative reports for management and donors.
- Identify financial risks, operational challenges, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance, financial policies and donor requirements.
- Regular reporting to supervisor/manager and Head Office.
5. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial management and basic accounting
- Understanding of IGA, cooperative principles, and social enterprise models
- Proven capacity and experience of cooperative activities.
- Commitment to cooperative principles and values
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic managerial capacity to build and manage a team and to work with and without top-down supervision
- Ability to understand the human rights aspects of the women.
- Having knowledge of the local culture and language.
- Must possess a mentality to work in any location within organization’s working area.
- Experience at NGO/INGO on income generating activities will be given preference.
