To strengthen our financial leadership, we are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented professional to join our Management Team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful candidate will lead the Company's financial operations, strategic planning, financial reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance while supporting sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Company's overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements issued by BSEC, DSE, CSE, CDBL, Bangladesh Bank, NBR, and other relevant authorities, as applicable.
  • Monitor liquidity, cash flow, capital adequacy, profitability, and financial risks.
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, fund management, and financial controls.
  • Ensure effective internal controls, corporate governance, and financial risk management practices.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, regulatory inspections, and financial reviews.
  • Advise the Management on financial strategy, business performance, investments, and risk mitigation.
  • Supervise the Finance & Accounts team and promote professional development, accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

  • Experience: Candidates with relevant professional qualifications and substantial experience in financial leadership, preferably in stock brokerage, merchant banking, banking, or financial services sector, will receive preference.
  • Skills: Sound knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, taxation, financial planning, risk management, corporate governance, and applicable regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution in Bangladesh or abroad.
  • Professional Qualification: Candidates holding FCA/ACA, FCMA/ACMA, FCCA/ACCA, or equivalent recognized professional accountancy qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Other Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), strategic decision-making abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems.
