I. Job Summary:

The Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to community development, youth engagement, and volunteerism, and we are seeking dynamic Project Coordinator to drive positive change in the areas of socio-economic development and capacity building in Bangladesh through Youth development approach.

The Manager, Finance and Grant Management based in the Dhaka office, reports to the CEO. He is responsible for He will guide the team and track deliverable, analyze variances and budgetand undertake corrective action including systematic documentation for future audit. The post holder will provide policy guidance to the team so that everybody can use financial and other resources as per policy guidance and make support services and procurement following The guideline and preserved in a safe place. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for this position since you'll be working with internal teams and clients to deliver deliverables on time.

II. Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Policy wise day to day entire financial transactions and reporting management.
  • Preparing Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare Strategic Planning, Budget preparation for every & multiyear.
  • Financial performance of the projects in accordance with the scope of work and respective project plan.
  • Dealing with NGOAB, donor agencies, BB, Banks, MRA, Registration authorities need basis.
  • Procurement management, all kind of banking transactions, donor wise all kind of financial reporting, budget negotiations and communications, related documentation, ensuring smart management.
  • Supporting all programs under DYDF in development of strategic planning, monthly/quarterly/yearly plan and overall management of programs.
  • Donor wise reporting, documentation, project design, donor supporting IGA and Micro credit program financial policy wise.
  • Checking daily voucher supporting documents, cash book & ledger & other necessary documents and ensuring day to day tally posting, managing approval from higher management.
  • Multiple project wise accounting books and reporting management, monthly-quarterly and yearly report generation with proper standards and provide need base support to branch, project offices, Finance &
  • Analytical report preparation and VAT coupon & Tax deduction calculation checking and track and deposit to bank timely by challan, proper taxation and reporting.
  • Verify all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Take initiative to various asset purchase, depreciation calculation, or disposal if needed by organization & donor's rules & regulation; ensure all kinds of assistance when audit conduct.
  • Ensure enlisted vendor, Check purchase/store requisition and take initiative to approval, collect quotations/RFQ & evaluation, comparative statement & work order, prepare note for record when needed, check logistics and goods through challenge (if needed) and ensure quality and quantity.
  • Gathering, monitoring, and communicating on donor rules and regulations (from website, emails and meetings) including during grant proposal kick-off meetings (narrative and budget)
  • Audit readiness and all kind of documentation, book keeping, software base activities management for ensuring transparency, audit and donor's due diligence management
  • Reviewing all financial and logistic information on periodic basis and updating CEO with proper recommendations, financial proposal making for donor proposal/EOl submissions.
  • Playing role in representing organization in various audience for related negotiation's, project meeting and program progress, achievement's
  • Others important duties assigned by the authority on need basis.
  • Capacity enhancement and strategically plan development for growth and financial, documentation development.
  • Need base branch and project site visit to ensuring quality, transparency
  • Any other duties assigned by the line supervisor

Educational Requirements
  • Master's degree in accounting (any relevant extra degree will get priority)
Experience Requirements
  • At least 5-8 year(s) finance and admin managerial/coordinator level experiences.
  • Experience of Project financial & administration role and experiences at NGO level
  • USAID/EU/FCDO/UN fund management capacity will get priority
Additional Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a similar role
  • Strong knowledge on tally software and various software using skill required.
  • Strong English and IT skill, good communication skill, presentation capacity
  • Age at least 35 years
  • Clear understanding on taxation, NGOAB processes, IGA and working with private sector
  • Strong analytical skills in Accounts, finance & administration. Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Proficiency in excel and power point, word program (including Bangla typing)
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify & resolve project-related issues
  • Team building capacity, good communication skill and working ability in pressure required.
  • Commitment in delivering high-quality tasks for sustainable impact and promote innovation
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role
  • Updated with various digital solutions and report wring skills need to ensure.
Compensation
BDT 35,000 (Gross) with HR policy wise other facilities and two festival bonuses. (Joining from 6th August)
