| Key Accountabilities |
- Litigation management: Manage and monitor Artha Rin Adalat suits, execution (Jari) cases, cheque-dishonour cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, civil and criminal cases, title suits, CIB-related disputes, writ matters, appeals, revisions and other proceedings involving the Bank.
- Court representation: Attend subordinate courts, tribunals and the Supreme Court of Bangladesh as required.
- Pleadings and legal documents: Draft, review and vet legal notices, plaints, complaint petitions, written statements, affidavits, applications, writ petitions, criminal miscellaneous petitions, stay petitions, appeals, revisions, Criminal/Civil Petitions for Leave to Appeal.
- Recovery enforcement: Support lawful possession-taking, auction and sale processes; identify additional assets/security; and recommend practical steps to accelerate recovery.
- Case strategy: Analyze facts, evidence, limitation, jurisdiction and legal risks; brief management and external counsel; and recommend filing, defense, settlement, appeal or alternative dispute-resolution strategies.
- Land and security review: Review title chains, land vetting reports and encumbrance issues, land disputes, mortgages, irrevocable general powers of attorney, tripartite agreements, leases and other security documents relevant to disputes.
- Panel counsel coordination: Follow up matters with external counsel; review progress.
- MIS and reporting: Maintain accurate case files and litigation MIS and preparing Reporting.

| Qualifications |
- Must have LL.B. from recognized Universities. Barristers and or LL.M. holders from Public Universities will get preference.
- Candidates must have relevant experience in dealing Artha Rin Suits, Jari Suits, N.I Act Cases, Writs out of Artha Rin Suits/Jari Suits, Criminal Misc. Cases, Title Suits, Money Suits, CIB Cases either in a Legal Division of a Bank/ Non-Banking Finance or in a reputed Law Chamber which deals with such cases.
- At least 3 years relevant Experience needed for joining as an Officer.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the Legal Division/Litigation Unit of a bank or non-bank financial institution is preferred.
- Enrolment with the Bangladesh Bar Council is strongly preferred. Permission to practice in the High Court Division will receive additional weight.
