COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (CODEC) Background of the Project: CODEC (est. 1985) is a leading national NGO operating across climate resilience, livelihoods, WASH, education, and humanitarian response. The BID4CJ Project focuses on climate-resilient economic growth for vulnerable communities in Cox's Bazar, Satkhira and Khulna. The Green Business Hub activity delivers two complementary outputs: (i) a physical Display Centre in Dhaka and (ii) this Online Market Platform together creating a market linkage ecosystem connecting local producers with national and international buyers 24/7. The platform must be practical for entrepreneurs with limited digital experience while meeting the technical standards expected by international development organizations. Abou the Assignment: CODEC invites competitive proposals for the complete design, development, hosting, SEO, staff training, and three-year technical support of a Green Business Hub Online Market Platform. The platform will serve as the digital showcase for green entrepreneurs, women-led enterprises, youth businesses, and climate-friendly producers in Chakaria, Cox's Bazar. Individual IT consultants are the primary and preferred bidder category for this assignment. A single qualified consultant who personally covers or appropriately sub-contracts the required technical roles is fully eligible and equally evaluated alongside registered firms.
