The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its SME Banking Division:
Manager, Regulatory Relations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate various workshops and meetings and attend Bangladesh Bank inspections across the country
Prepare CMSME, Financial Inclusion, and other need-based reports for Bangladesh Bank and other stakeholders.
Supervise the tasks and responsibilities of direct reports.
Supervise and coordinate Bangladesh Bank’s SME inspections, conducted at various branches and ensure timely responses.
Manage various Bangladesh Bank refinancing/pre-financing schemes and Credit Guarantee Schemes, including need-based reporting to Bangladesh Bank
Coordinate Bangladesh Bank inspections under refinance/pre-finance schemes, surveys, and research initiatives, and ensure timely submission of required documents and data.
Ensure the response on due time based on inspection observation of SME Refinance/Prefinance, Comprehensive inspection etc.
Ensure timely responses to observations arising from SME refinance/pre-finance and comprehensive inspections.
Ensure timely submission of interest subsidy claims and quarterly fund releases
Coordinate among various sections of the SME Banking Division.
Prepare annual targets for CMSME, agricultural, and pre-finance/refinance schemes Monitor and follow up on monthly/quarterly targets against achievements.
Arrange need-based approvals from SME management
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic record.
Five to six years of experience in a relevant field within banks or NBFIs.
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s financial inclusion and SME landscape and the development-sector ecosystem.
Willingness to travel frequently and relocate as required.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams.
Customer-centric, self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
