Job Context:
BASIS is seeking a skilled and proactive professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Public Relations & Media Communications. The role requires strong media communication, content development, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with media, ministries, embassies, and industry partners.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute PR strategies, publicity activities, and communication.
- Prepare press releases, articles, presentations, and social media content.
- Maintain effective communication with media houses and ensure positive media coverage.
- Communication with ministries, embassies, and other stakeholders as required.
- Respond to media and public inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and manage digital and visual communication content.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare analytical reports on campaign performance.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize official correspondence including letters to ministries, embassies, and other organizations.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations,BBA Marketing, Mass Communication & Journalism or a related field.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
Experience Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Public Relations, Media Communications, or related fields.
- Experience in organizational or stakeholder communication roles will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
- Strong fluency in writing, speaking, and typing in English & Bangla.
- Strong media handling and relationship management skills.
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
