Position Title: Medical Officer (Female)

Position Location: BAIUST, Cumilla

Job Nature: Full-time (Residential).

1. Position Description & Responsibilities: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Residential Medical Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Provide medical care and assistance to students, faculty, staff, and officers of the university, ensuring their health and well-being.
2. Reside on-campus to be available 24 hours for any medical emergencies or health concerns.
3. Operate and manage the Medical and Infirmary (MI) room during office hours, including providing first aid, handling minor medical treatments, and maintaining cleanliness and    orderliness.
4. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of health-related issues for all students and staff, including records of treatment and medical history.
5. Ensure proper medical documentation and records for male and female residential students, keeping track of health assessments and treatments.
6. Provide advice on general health, wellness, and disease prevention to the university community.
7. Perform any other medical-related tasks as assigned by university authorities.

2. Academic Qualification, Experience, and Other Requirements:

The candidate must meet the following criteria:

1. MBBS from any recognized medical college (Updated BMDC Registration is required)
2. Proven experience in medical practice, with experience in handling health concerns of large groups of individuals (students, faculty, and staff) preferred.
3. Ability to operate medical equipment and provide basic healthcare services in a campus setting.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in institutional settings.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential health information.
