Job Description / Responsibility:
Anandalok Trust is looking for a dynamic Education Supervisor for its “Future-oriented and high quality education in disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh (SWAPNO)” Project supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice. The Education Supervisor will be responsible for overall implementation of 10 school with other project activities. programme implementation and execution and monitoring programme staff, conducting trainings, workshops at school and community level, programme documentation and reporting. Coordinating monthly action plans and team meetings, communicating with local authorities, local advocacy responsibilities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly project implementation Planning.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Implementation project activities of 10 Primary school
- Manage and supervise staff (5 education support organizer) of the project
- Provide supportive technical support to teachers, ESO, SMC, Education Development Committee and parents
- Facilitate the students' performance
- Facilitate in different meeting, training, dialogue and workshop
- Prepare monthly action plan, activity report and submit it to supervisor
- Monitor activities from school level to district level
- Regular visits of the school and household of students
- Organize community level different events
- Effective communication with relevant authorities
- Rapport building with representatives of GO, NGOs & stakeholders;
Job Nature: Full-time; Direct reportable to District Coordinator.
Educational Requirements: Master’s Degree in any discipline; an advanced degree in education or a good academic record will get preference.
Experience Requirements: Not required but experienced in education programme will get priority.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Willing to work hard and the remotest area in Bangladesh.
- Comprehensive knowledge of primary education system in Bangladesh
- Subject base knowledge in primary level
- Minimum knowledge and good presentation skills to conduct training and meeting
- Minimum knowledge of local government system in union level
- Good interpersonal skills as good behavior, respect to others, respect for children etc.
- Have good oral and written communication in English and Bangla
- Proficient in computer skills in MS Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge and working experience with Primary Education;
- Practical skills in singing and dancing, expertise in any game (football, cricket, local game etc.)
- Skill in Poems Reciting and good reading
- Any campaigning for social work
- Aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity
- Mandatory to drive motorcycle and have valid driving license
Salary Range: 16,000.00 BDT per month(including 10% PF).
Other Benefits: Festival bonus, gratuity and others Fringe benefits as per organisational policies.
