About SuperAnnotate
SuperAnnotate is a San Francisco based AI company. We specialize in providing cutting-edge data pipeline solutions for Machine Learning, LLM, and GenAI solutions to large enterprise clients, helping them leverage the power of AI to transform their businesses. SuperAnnotate has a fully customizable platform for building annotation tools and workflows that AI projects demand — while unifying the management of all teams, vendors, and data in one place. We’re very proud to have products that are loved by our customers, resulting in us being listed as the highest-ranked platform on G2.
Why This Role Matters
We are seeking AI Data Trainers on a contractual basis to support our quality assurance operations across Large Language Model (LLM), multimodal, and computer vision annotation projects. As a contractual AI Data Trainer, you will conduct first-pass quality reviews on annotation output, working alongside experienced QA Coordinators and learning the systems and standards that drive SuperAnnotate's data quality.
This is a hands-on quality role at a top global AI company — an opportunity to build domain expertise and quality judgement across cutting-edge annotation task types, with performance on this engagement informing consideration for future roles within our Human Data Partnership & Operations function.
What You Will Do
- Perform first-pass quality reviews and spot-checks on annotation output across LLM, multimodal, and computer vision projects, against provided guidelines and quality rubrics.
- Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and guideline adherence; return items that fail quality standards with clear, structured feedback.
- Identify recurring error patterns in reviewed output and escalate to your assigned QA Coordinator for process intervention.
- Meet daily throughput and quality targets set for your assigned project(s).
- Build domain expertise and quality judgement across annotation task types.
- Maintain timely communication via Discord, Email, or other designated channels.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA documentation, error catalogs, and operational best practices.
Mandatory Assessment Bootcamp
- All candidates must attend and complete an assessment bootcamp before being engaged on production work.
- Only candidates who pass the bootcamp evaluation will qualify for this contractual engagement. Bootcamp performance is the sole basis for qualification; attendance alone does not guarantee engagement.
Please note
“This task involves drawing boxes around different elements (text, tables, images, headings, and more) in PDF documents, classifying what they are, and defining how they relate to each other. Think of it like teaching an AI to read and understand documents the way humans do. No prior experience needed, just attention to detail and a willingness to learn the guidelines!”
What You Will Bring
- Educational Background: Recent graduate or final-year student from any field. Background in linguistics, technical, quantitative, or analytical disciplines is a plus. Students from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year may apply as well.
- English proficiency: C1-C2 level (Advanced / Near-Native) required.
- Experience: 0-2 years. Prior internships, freelance work, or part-time roles in data annotation, content moderation, BPO, or operations are a plus, not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition.
- Good written and verbal English communication.
- Comfort with quantitative work, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis.
- Comfort with Discord or similar collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with annotation tools, AI/ML concepts, or data quality processes is a plus.
Engagement Terms
- Commitment: Maximum 8 working hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Compensation: BDT 300 per hour worked.
- Contract Duration & Termination: This is a work-availability-based engagement. The contract may be terminated by SuperAnnotate on any day, without prior notice period, based on the availability of work. Engagement does not constitute employment and carries no guarantee of continued work volume.
- Qualification: Engagement is conditional on passing the mandatory assessment bootcamp.
Work Schedule & Location
- Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (Remote and/or Hybrid, per project requirements).
- Schedule: Any 5 working days per week (rostered), which may include weekends based on operational requirements.
- Rotational shift availability may be required for specific projects with cross-time-zone or 24/7 delivery demands. Shifts will be assigned based on project needs and team rostering, with advance notice provided.
Salary: BDT 300/hour
